Our team of dentists and dental hygienists provide all basic dental care. We offer dental hygiene services such as tartar removal, polishing and dental examinations with or without x-ray. We also offer common treatments such as root canals and fillings.
Our main objective is to offer you a pleasant visit at our dental clinic.
An implant is an artificial titanium root that replaces a missing tooth and holds the artificial one. A dental implant is more comfortable and more discret than a removable prosthetic.
If you are healthy and the dentist considers that the base of your jaw bone can support an implant, the dentist will propose the option of the dental implant to give you a more natural looking smile.
The dentist performs a follow-up exam about 4 to 6 months after the procedure and if there are no problem, he will install a prosthetic tooth or a crown on the dental implant.
Orthodontic treatments are recommended for people of any age since poor positioning tooth positioning, such as an overlapping teeth for example, can cause gum disease or cavity formation.
The dentist chooses from four different options, depending on the needs and situation of the client. He can install conventional metal braces, progressive aligners (invisible orthodontics), invisible or white braces, or even removable appliances.
Our dentists perform complex extraction procedures such as wisdom teeth, bone grafts as well as bone remodeling for people with missing teeth.
Periodontics refers to all treatments related to the gums. These treatments, for example, can be used to stop the progression of gingivitis, which affects 85% of North Americans.
Periodontal disease (gum disease), is a condition that cannot be cured but can be treated. At Dent à Vie dental Clinic, we offer a gentle and effective treatment that can be repeated every three months. It actually involves brushing the teeth and gums with a toothpaste designed specifically for the treatment of gum disease.
On top of our medical dentistry treatments, Dent à Vie clinic offers cosmetic dentistry services to enhance your smile. We can perform teeth whitening treatments, orthodontics, and crown placements.
We offer the following cosmetic dental care services:
A teeth whitening treatment will make your smile shine even brighter!
To apply the whitening product we use a device that shines a very concentrated light. By producing heat, this light source activates the carbamide peroxide based product, which is less damaging to the gums than the hydrogen peroxide based products.
By using this method, the effect of the teeth whitening solution is felt within an one hour; much faster than when the same product is applied at home! For a more lasting effect of the teeth whitening treatment, the dentist will give to the patient whitening shells so they can do touch ups six months and one year later.
Our dentists recommend this treatment for anyone with tooth discoloration, which may be caused by certain medications, for example.
We can install fixed (crowns or bridges) or removable prosthetics (complete or partial dentures)
We use veneers, crowns or composites to eliminate the extra space between two teeth, for example.
After your first visit, you will notice the pleasant and comforting atmosphere of our dental clinic Dent à Vie. Our decor – exposed brick walls and oak doors – reflects our team’s image: warm and inviting.
Our dentists, both competent and experienced professionals, will take care of your teeth’s health. The clinic’s owner, Dr. Louis-Jacques Cadieux, have developped an expertise in dental implants, crowns and bridges, teeth whitening, and much more. Never the less, he continues to expand his knowledge through periodic professional training in order to be able to meet all your family and cosmetic dentistry needs.
He opened his own clinic in 1983, three years after graduating. Other dentists have subsequently worked alongside him. Dr. Thierry Marin joined him in 2011 and the team also includes two dental hygienists, three assistants and three people who manage the administrative work.
